These are some of the saliant academic courses at the University of Maryland that have been integral to building my skills towards digital marketing.

Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation - BMGT461
What I learned: This course taught me how to properly start a business by creating a business plan from scratch with a group of four other students. I learned the ins and outs of starting a business to financing it from start to finish. I helped pitch our business to potential investors and learned how to cater our messaging to attract them.

Introduction to Python Coding - CMSC198
What I learned: In this mixed online and in-person class in the School of Computer Science, I learned the basic rules of coding Python. We created a 2D world using functions, definitions, and stored lists.

Communication and Digital Media - COMM471
What I learned: I learned how to use InDesign and Adoble Illustrator in this enriching course. We were given an opportunity to create a brochure for our university's library. The winning design became the official brochure for the library and my design was chosen to win.

What I Learned: I learned how to coordinate traditional and digital media such as advertising, sales promotion, internet marketing, direct marketing and public relations to create an intergrated campaign. A strategic marketing plan was created and present to the class.
